Every year St John’s Society hosts a collective table for the community to sell their things to enable people to join a rota and cut down the time they need to spend hosting a table (and it is also a wonderful way to meet your neighbours). It is part of the annual Brockley, Ladywell and St John’s Society Co-ordinated Front Garden Sale – Saturday and Sunday 12-13 September 2026, 11am to 4pm.
Some people donate things for sale. Others ask us to sell stuff on their behalf. Either is fine.
But if you want to be a part of it you need to sign up and put your dot on the map so that people can see where our BIG table is.
How do you join our merry gang?
- Email gardensale@brockleysociety.org.uk and write “St John’s Garden” as your address and we will work out a rota via a temporary Whatsapp group nearer the time.
Where is St John’s Garden?
- It is the little patch of fenced in greenery behind the church, where Cliff Terrace meets St John’s Vale and opposite the entrance to Ashmead road.
How do you advertise a table outside your house? ie Not be part of the group sale.
- Email gardensale@brockleysociety.org.uk with your house no. + street + postcode. State Sat. Sun or both.
