A combination of the gale winds of Storm Henk and some local graffiti taggers meant that some of our local signage was in need of some care and attention. SJS committee member John Wood and local artist Alma Tischlerwood hit the streets this weekend and repainted the St. John’s road bridge mural and rehung a stitched Friendly Gardens banner which had torn in the wind. You’d hardly knew they were damaged in the first place!
Alma painted the mural on both sides of the bridge in 2021 and produced the Friendly Gardens banner to coincide with last years Party in the Park. We’re so lucky to have her!
