Last week our chair Litsa was kindly invited to visit the new music room on the top floor of Lucas Vale Primary School. As well as seeing the new facilities, the room is a perfect vantage point to take in the fabulous, tree lined streets of the St John’s area.
There are also some lovely greening interventions at street level; raised beds in tree pits along Admiral Street and these rustic planters sitting on top of front garden walls.
The St John’s Society have more plans to green and rewild parts of the neighbourhood. We’re looking forward to sharing more details once they’re developed further.
